Gonstead Chiropractic Care

We provide advanced spinal correction utilizing the Gonstead technique of chiropractic.  The Gonstead technique includes a thorough analysis and specific and gentle adjustments. Some of the unique features of the Gonstead technique include evaluation of full spine xrays, nervoscope scanning (detecting nerve interference), motion palpation, visualization, and precise, specific adjustments. The care provided is adapted to all ages and sizes.

Prenatal Care

Dr. MacBean is board Prenatal Carecertified in chiropractic pediatrics and prenatal care.  She is also certified in the Webster Technique of chiropractic care which is a specific technique used to balance the pelvis of a pregnant woman to allow optimal fetal positioning.  Research has shown that women under regular chiropractic care during their pregnancy not only experience less pain as their body grows but also experience quicker labor and delivery.

Pediatric Care

SomePediatric Caretimes the first spinal stress a child experiences is during the birthing process.  After that, there are many other stresses to children’s spines like car seats, repetitive diaper changes, falls, learning how to walk, sports, etc.  These stresses affect the way the spine and nervous system (and body) develop.  Chiropractic is a safe and gentle way to ensure proper function of the spine and nervous system from the beginning of life.  Dr. MacBean is board certified in chiropractic pediatrics and is an expert in working with infants and children.

By assisting the healing process, chiropractic has been shown to improve many childhood conditions such as colic, chronic ear infections, constipation, asthma, bed-wetting, weak immune systems, ADHD and scoliosis. Early chiropractic care also prevents many related problems from occurring later in life as well.  Because spinal stressors are a common occurrence, regular chiropractic check-ups should be part of your approach to life-long health for your child.
